In anticipation of the arrival of the exhibition, Olympus: The Greco-Roman Collections of Berlin, the WAG is thrilled to offer a special screening of Secrets of the Parthenon in collaboration with the 2015 Architecture and Design Film Festival. This exciting episode from the Nova PBS Documentary Collection not only explores the Parthenon as an enduring symbol of Ancient Greece, Athenian democracy, Western civilization and one of the world’s greatest cultural monuments, but highlights the current program of selective restoration and reconstruction carried out by The Greek Ministry of Culture to ensure the stability of the partially ruined structure.
